Certificates with Multiple SANs entries may break ISA Server Web Publishing

The ISA Server 2004 Acceleration server does not support the Subject Alternative Names (SANs) attribute in SSL certificates, the Common Name of the certificate installed on the server must match the published name of the domain. However, as long as you have ISA Service Pack 1 installed ISA Server 2006 will function correctly.
Click Here for ISA Service Pack 1

If ISA Service Pack 1 is not installed the client may receive the "Error Code 500 Internal Server Error" error message when they try to visit a web page that you have published using ISA Server 2004 or ISA Server 2006.

Debian's Encryption

On May 13, 2008, the Debian project announced that an update to Debian's OpenSSL package in 2006 contains a vulnerability that makes the Random Number Generator theoretically predictable, weakening SSH and SSL encryption and authentication. This problem has affected all Certification Authorities, and all certificates which have been generated using a private key generated on a system running Debian since 2006. In response to this issue GlobalSign we will be revoking all affected certificates, and offering reissuance at no cost. Read More

A single Wildcard SSL Certificate to secure multiple Web Sites

Save time, administration and money by adding the Wildcard SSL option. Typically a standard secure server SSL Certificate is issued to a single Fully Qualified Domain Name only, which means it can only be used on the exact domain (including sub-domain) to which it has been issued. With the Wildcard SSL option activated you easily get around this restriction by receiving a Wildcard SSL Certificate issued to *.domain.com. The * character replaces a "fixed" sub-domain with a "variable" one. Read More

Subject Alternative Names (SANs)

This provides total flexibility and allows you to build an SSL Certificate that’s simple to use and install, more secure than a Wildcard SSL, and built for your exact server security requirements Read More
